The Funky Buddha Lounge is moving locations.

The funky buddha lounge

Funky Buddha Lounge had hosted different kinds of entertainment — from DJs to hip-hop open mikes and comedy shows. The new space is much smaller — shifting from a capacity space to a room that can hold about 75 — so Funky Buddha programming will need to be "tailored back considerably," according to Bohm. The space, which was at one time intended to be The Salty Dog a concept that never launcheddoes not have a kitchen, but there is a small stage near the front and it's wired for DJs and other performers.

The Funky Buddha in its current incarnation is now closed. In the future, the space will be run by Ronnie Miller, and the name of the establishment will be changed to Lincoln Street Station. Miller had worked in various roles within the company that owns these buildings and venues, including serving as general manager of Vinyl.

Miller was unavailable for comment regarding Lincoln Street Station's business concept or further details of the takeover.
